The spin ⟨Ŝ2⟩ was calculated from RDMs. While the larger J = 1 × 10–2Eh value provides dynamics with nearly exact spin expectation values for any chosen walker population, the smaller J = 1 × 10–3Eh calculations converge to the correct spin expectation value more slowly and only for larger populations.
