Table 4.

Results from linear mixed effects models including retinal nerve fibre layer thickness. The lmer function automatically performed t-tests using Satterthwaite approximations to estimate degrees of freedom. Values describe relationships between diffusion white matter measures (FD, FC, FDC, AWF and TORT) and retinal nerve fibre layer thickness (RNFLT) measures in MS and MOG patients. (FD: fibre density, FC: fibre cross-section, FDC: fibre density and cross-section, AWF: axonal water fraction, TORT: tortuosity).
