If a parameter is not normally distributed in either cohort, values are shown as median [interquartile range (IQR)] for both cohorts, whereas values are shown as mean ± standard deviation (SD) otherwise. Normality was proved by the Shapiro-Wilk test. The BSA was calculated according to the Dubois formula (42).
