The hemolytic and cytotoxic activities of Tatritin against erythrocytes and cell lines from fish and pig. (A) The Tatritin peptide was added to the erythrocytes of grass carp (gcRBC), blunt snout bream (bsbRBC), and domestic pig (piRBC) and incubated at 24˚C for 2 h, and then OD405 of the supernatant was measured. (B) The Tatritin peptide was added to the cells of PK15 (Sus scrofa), FHM (Pimephales promelas), L8824 (Ctenopharyngodon idella), ZFL (Danio rerio), and ZF4 (D. rerio) and incubated at 28˚C for 48 h; CCK-8 solution was then added and incubated at 28˚C for an additional 4 h. The absorbance was subsequently measured at 450 nm. Data shown are the means ± SD (n = 3).
