^aThere were seven mice in each treatment group. The mice were randomized into control and treatment groups, and FLC therapy was initiated at 24 h postchallenge. FLC was administered at 0.2 ml by intraperitoneal injection. Treatment was given once a day at 10 mg/kg of body weight and continued for 5 days. At 24 h after the administration of the last dose of FLC, the mice were sacrificed.
