Radon can enter into buildings through cracks in the building structure after being released from rocks to soils and water. Water can transport radon into the buildings, as being highly soluble in cold water, this solubility is highly reduced in hotter water, being immediately released, for example, during showering (adapted from [43,44,45,46]).
