IgA scatterplot (A) and boxplot (B), as well as amylase scatterplot (C) and boxplot (D) compare serum concentrations between participants of different ethnicities in the prospective analysis. Mean values (unadjusted for age) are shown in the top left corner of boxplots. p-Values shown in boxplots were calculated for IgA while adjusting for age and for amylase without adjusting for age, as age difference is indicated for IgA, but not indicated for amylase by previous CALIPER reference interval studies [3].
