Time-kill curves of polygodial comparing wild-type
S. cerevisiae ATCC 7754 to petite mutants, which are
respiration deficient, in ME medium. Control cultures of each strain
were not significantly different from the wild type (●). Polygodial
at 3.13 μg/ml was exposed to the wild type (○) and to strains which
were collected from another time-kill experiment as phenotypically
large (▿), medium (□), small (◊), and very small (▵) strains.
The [rho0] mutant is represented by dashed
lines (+).
