The 40 top-bound promoters by each paralog pair (y-axis) were selected (see Supplementary file 2), ordered along the x-axis, and color-coded according to promoter binding signal (pbs, z-score). TFs are organized by DNA-binding domain (DBD) families, as indicated. Bars on the left depict correlations in binding preferences (pbs similarity) of respective paralogs and are summarized for all paralogs of the indicated family (individual lines) and non-paralog TFs (gray) in the histogram on top.
