Diffuse reflectance spectra of Ti-A and Ti-B coatings. Spectra show that the coatings exhibit bandgaps in the visible blue light region (~ 446 nm). There is no variation in the bandgap for samples oxidized in PEO baths with and without nitrogen-containing compounds.
