CagA+ H. pylori, not CagA H. pylori infection, impaired endothelial function through increased ROS production in mice. Representative fluorescent images and quantification of ROS formation in the aorta of male C57BL/6 mice (A) (**P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001 by t-test) with CagA+ H. pylori, CagA H. pylori or PBS gavage. Aortic ROS production was significantly increased in mice with CagA+ H. pylori infection, not with CagA H. pylori infection.
