Either no prenatal maternal depression and state anxiety or no prenatal maternal depression and trait anxiety were the reference groups. Models were adjusted for sex, gestational age at birth, age at follow-up, prenatal maternal alcohol use, prenatal maternal tobacco use, maternal employment status at delivery, maternal educational attainment at delivery, parity and the household crowding index.
