A–E Immunostainings of nephrocytes from 3rd instar larvae expressing GAL80ts together with sns::GAL4 and Sktl-RNAi (A, B) or PI3K-CA (C–E), which were first raised at 18 °C in order to suppress expression of the transgenes. After first (L1, E) or second (L2, B and D) instar larval stage, larvae were shifted to 29 °C prior to dissection to induce expression of the transgenes.
