Effects of the administration of fluoxetine (FLX) (10 mg/kg) alone (n = 5) or in combination with Galanin(1-15) [GAL(1-15)] (1 nmol) (n = 6) on 5-HT1AR mRNA levels in the (A) dentate gyrus (DG) and (B) CA1 regions of the dorsal hippocampus of bulbectomy rats (OBX). FLX was administered s.c. 23, 5 and 1.25 hours before euthanized. Cerebrospinal fluid or GAL(1-15) was i.c.v. 30 minutes before being euthanized.
