(A): Elution profile of Micrurus mipartitus venom proteins by RP-HPLC. Two mg of venom was fractionated on a C18 column, as described in the materials and methods. The numbers show the fractions selected for evaluation of the lethal effect. Numbers in blue indicate the fractions that they showed a lethal effect in mice and numbers in red indicate the most lethal and abundant fractions and those used as immunogens.
