pSer129 α-synuclein levels are elevated in the striatum of 12-month-old LRRK2 KO mice. Immunohistochemistry was performed in striatal slices of 12-month-old G2019S KI and LRRK2 KO mice in comparison with age-matched WT mice. Optical density (O.D.) of pSer129 α-syn (A) and total α-syn (B) immunostaining was calculated. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM of n = 6 mice per group. Representative images were provided in the upper panels (scale bar = 100 µm).
