(A) Experimental design: C57BL/6 mice were immunized with MOG35–35 to induce EAE at day −25, −15, or −5 prior to either sham or CLP surgery, and age-matched nonimmunized (non-EAE) underwent CLP surgery at the same time. Mortality was monitored in all cohorts. (B) EAE clinical scores of mice that were induced for EAE at −25, −15, −5 prior to either sham or sepsis surgery.
