Baseline levels (middle row) and the magnitude of inhibition of tonic activity (bottom row) are shown for C7 (A), mastoid (B) and sternal stimulation (C). Grand means revealed differences in baseline RMS levels between postures with C7 and mastoid stimulation associated with higher levels in the prone condition. The prominent inhibitory response was also modulated by posture for C7 stimulation.
