(A) RNE filters were exposed to PAO1 ultrafiltrate or vehicle control for 4 hours. Representative Ussing chamber tracings demonstrate reduced forskolin-dependent and CFTR-inhibited ISC. (B) Summary data demonstrates significant difference in amiloride-sensitive ΔISC, forskolin-dependent ΔISC, and CFTR inhibition. Forskolin-dependent and CFTR inhibited ΔISC were decreased by approximately 40% and 50%, respectively (n ≥ 10 per condition, p ≤ 0.01).
