Microscopic pictures of infected Vero E6 cells with SARS-CoV-2. Cells were exposed to SARS-CoV-2 (20A.EU2 variant; MOI = 0.015) for 2 h, in the presence or absence of 2.5 μg/ml antibody R001 or R007. Supernatant was then removed, cells were washed and given fresh medium without (= ‘Control’) or with antibody (= ‘R001’ or ‘R007’). Pictures of cytopathic effect (CPE) were taken 3 days postinfection. For R001 a complete protection of virus entry was obtained, whereas R007 had no antiviral effect. Magnification was 4×.
