High toxicity is reported for the original remdesivir administration of 200 mg on day 1 followed by 100 mg/day from days 2 to 10 (top) compared to a much lower toxic level for the optimal repurposed remdesivir regimen of 90 mg/day from days 1 to 5 in treating COVID-19.
