Meta-analysis of jurisdiction-specific associations between emergency presentation and 12-month mortality

Emergency presentation is defined as diagnosis of cancer within 30 days after an emergency hospital admission. Results are restricted to the 12 jurisdictions with information on disease stage at diagnosis for all eight cancer sites and have been adjusted for cancer site, age group, sex, and year.
