^aReaction condition: 4 (0.5 mmol), 2 (1 mmol), CuI (0.05 mmol), K₂CO₃ (1.25 mmol for free amines; 1.75 mmol for amine hydrogen chlorides), DMSO (2 mL), reaction temperature (80 °C) in a Schlenk tube under nitrogen atmosphere. Reaction time (16 h).
