Effect of BI 1015550 on LPS-stimulated TNF-α (A) and IL-6 (B) release in human and rat whole blood. Results are given as means ± SEM from 4 independent experiments. Whole blood from WI (Han) male rats and from healthy male human donors was treated with 1 µL (rat) or 2.5 µL (human) of BI 1015550 or vehicle (DMSO 0.5% v/v). After incubation, cultures were treated with LPS at a final concentration of 10 µg/mL (rat), 0.1 µg/mL (human), or saline.
