Microbiome profiles are shown to be different among healthy weight (HW) and overweight/obesity (Ow/Ob) groups (p=0.035) when adjusting for other demographic and gynecological variables. Microbiome profiles also differ based on ethnicity/race (p=0.001), nulliparity status (p=0.001), and history of bacterial vaginosis (p=0.023).
