Propofol significantly inhibited tumor growth and improved pathological tissue structure in a mouse xenograft model of CRC. (a) After treatment with propofol, 2 × 106 LoVo cells were subcutaneously injected into nude mice. (b) At the end of 4 weeks, the mice were sacrificed, and the subcutaneous tumors were removed for analysis. (c) Changes in tumor volume in each group of mice were measured once a week. (d) The weight of each removed tumor was measured. (e) H&E staining was performed to assess the pathological structure of tumors in each group. (f) Caspase 3 activity in each tumor was analyzed using an ELISA kit.
