Internal structure of the Mcat software toolkit. Mcat organises data in projects that store all parameter sets and groups raw images and ROIs into annotated input data sets. The algorithm parameters can be configured in a graphical user interface (GUI). Upon running a project, a directed acyclic graph (DAG) is generated that models the dependencies between the individual algorithms. In conjunction with the optimised data cache, it prevents duplication of workloads when running multiple parameter sets. The generated result data is written to an output folder together with a project file that includes the parameters and data used in this run.
