Systemic efficacy of C10-KR8d in neutropenic mice infected with 2×106 CFU of S. aureus USA300 LAC. Two hours post infection, the peptide group was treated (i.p., 5 mg/kg, n = 8) with a single dose of C10-KR8d while the control infected group was untreated. The CFU difference is significant when p value < 0.05 and ns represents no significance. The statistics was determined using Mann-Whitney test in the GraphPad Prism 7.0.
