The limit of detection for the standard assay is 3.30 log10 CE/g of kidney. In the modified assay, evaluation was performed at a lower limit of assay detection. The limit of detection for the modified assay is 1 conidium per 19.6 mg of tissue, or 1.70 log10 CE/g of kidney.
