Transfection efficiency of polyplexes was assessed in HCASMCs using PPDDBP or LF2K containing luciferase pDNA. Luminescence produced by cells post transfection was normalized to total protein. Data are expressed as mean ± SD (n = 3), #p < 0.05 compared with LPS/IFN-γ untreated PPDDBP/pDNA polyplexes.
