Fig. 12. Effect of silver–platinum nanoparticles on the viability of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSC). The cells were treated with different concentrations of nanoparticles (2.5 to 200 mg L−1, normalized to the total metal content) for 24 h under cell culture conditions. Viable cells (green fluorescence) were quantified by digital image processing (phase analysis). The data are expressed as mean ± SD of at least 3 independent experiments given as the percentage of the control (cells cultured without nanoparticles).
