Overview of DNA-scaffolded synergistic catalysis. Abiotic synergistic co-catalysts (red and blue) are tethered site-specifically to DNA structures with tunable co-catalyst spacings. Inter-co-catalyst spacing—and as a result, catalytic reaction rate—can be altered through DNA conformational changes triggered by chemical stimuli.
