Algorithm 4: Procedure for developing dual-level feature extraction and selection.
  1. Estimate a region θ that has dual optimum θ*(λ,α) of Equations (10) and (11) for a given pair of parameter values (λ,α).
  2. The two optimization problems are solved as follows:

  3. The dual feature screening ensures the form as:
