Comparison between PDCOs and existing cancer models. Model systems that are used in developing anticancer drug and drug efficacy study are non-human model systems, cancer cell-lines, and patient-derived xenografts (PDXs), along with patient-derived cancer organoids (PDCOs). Each model system has its own advantages and disadvantages for cancer research.
