Similarity between DICA and ICA methods on fMRI (left) and DTI (right) data over 5 re-runs for L ICs. For fMRI, DICA with its original fixed- (DICA-FI) and random-initialisation (DICA-RI) had compariable simlarity with standard ICA (ICA-RI), but low median Dice of about 0.3. For DTI, DICA-FI and DICA-RI were equally (dis)similar to ICA-RI. For both fMRI and DTI, there were positive outliers above Dice of 0.8 (fMRI) and 0.9 (DTI), suggesting that some ICs are reliably discovered even if many others are not.
