Glabralactone was orally administered 30 min before subplantar injection of carrageenan. The paw volume was measured at 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 h after injection using a plethysmometer. ^∗p < 0.05. (b) Effect of glabralactone on the proinflammatory protein expression in the carrageenan-induced paw edema model. The soft paw tissues were amputated and homogenized using a nuclear extract kit (Active Motif, Carlsbad, CA).
