Effects of different concentrations of phenol (A) and toluene (B) on the cellular fatty acid composition of R. opacus GM-14. Cells were grown in KSN medium containing fructose and various concentrations of phenol or toluene. Phenol or toluene added to an exponentially growing culture with an OD₅₄₀ of ≈0.3.
