Celastrol inhibits neuroinflammation in microglia and astrocytes, prevents neuronal apoptosis and neuroinflammation, and maintains the integrity of BBB. (B) Preclinical studies on neurodegenerative diseases that have been studied with celastrol. Celastrol shows neuroprotective effects for multiple neurodegenerative diseases.
