(A) Expression of mig-32::gfp (fosmid based translational fusion, vbaIs44) and spat-3::gfp (fosmid based translational fusion, vbaIs47) in the AIY lineage labeled with hlh-16p::mCherry (hlh-16 promoter driving the expression of a nuclear mCherry). In the embryo, MIG-32 and SPAT-3 are detected in the SMDD/AIY mother cell and its sister cell, the SIAD/SIBV mother cell, before their terminal division. Following the terminal division, MIG-32 and SPAT-3 are detected in the newly generated SMDD, AIY, SIAD and SIBV neurons. In L4 larvae, MIG-32 and SPAT-3 are detected in the AIY neuron.
