Mean scores and standard deviations are shown by provider role. Preferences for (A) online chat (P = .045) and (B) e-mail (P = .023) support did differ significantly by role (Fisher's exact test). There were no significant differences in opinion by role for (C) telephone (P = .546), (D) in-person (P = .486), (E) scheduled online (P = .466), or (F) online discussion groups (P = .119).
