Under blue LED, RPE cells with the selective blue-filtering (S-BF) lens showed a lower level of ROS compared to the UV-filtering (UVF) lens (p = 0.038), indicating less oxidative stress was present when the S-BF lens was in place. (n = 3, t-test, * p<0.05) The values are expressed as Mean ± SEM.
