A) Starting from the table of scientists and their genes of interest shown in Figure 4C’, Match Dashboard users can obtain information about each scientist and utilize the Match Request Forms to initiate communication. B-B’) By clicking a scientist’s name shown teal color in A) (blue arrow), Match Dashboard users can access their full public profile page. Note that the same information can also be obtained from clicking the “View User Profile” button next to the corresponding scientist’s name in the Search result window shown in Figure 3C. C-D) By clicking the “Send Match Request” link in A) (orange arrows), a Match Request Form will be displayed that allow users to contact the specific scientist. C’) shows a contact form addressed to a scientist who categorized the gene of interest as Public, while D’) shows a contact form addressed to a scientist who categorized the gene as Restricted. Note that some non-identifiable information about the anonymous user, including whether they are a PI, their experimental model systems, and their organ systems of interest are displayed. The identity of the Anonymous Scientist will be revealed once the scientist responds to a specific user’s match request, and only to the person who made the match request.
