Photoluminescence bands in CrI3 monolayers below Curie temperature display large degree of circular polarization which can be linked to the emergence of magnetization. A rapid reorientation of magnetic moments leads to the change in the sign of the polarization degree combined with a hysteric behavior with a coercive field of about 0.1 T, in agreement with analogous observation by birefringence effects.
