Inhibition of p38MAPK or MMP abrogates the promotion of cell invasion by SNCG. (A) HepG2 cells were transfected with 1 μg/ml of the empty vector or SNCG expression plasmid, and then treated with or without 50 μM of SB203580 and 10 μM of BB-94 for another 24h, followed by cell invasion assays. The relative cell invasion rate was plotted. The invasion rate in vehicle-treated and vector-transfected cells was set as 1.
