Scale	Definition	Pictoral Definition
0	No visible swelling or secretion.
1	Swollen temporal gland area. Opening may be enlarged. May not be symmetrical.
2	Temporal gland area wet. TGS less than 1/4 way to jawline.
3	TGS between 1/4 and 3/4 way to jawline.
4	TGS from 3/4 to all the way to jawline.
5	TGS staining is dried (lighter color than wet).
