The coefficient “a2” refers to the sectional regression coefficient between fear of COVID-19 and perceived social support; the coefficient “b2”, between perceived social support and perceived stress; and the correlation “d”, between neuroticism and perceived social support. The coefficient “c’” represents the relationship between fear of COVID-19 and perceived stress when the mediators are added.
