The presence or absence of key polysaccharide genes in each strain are indicated by a heat map. Genes present in a strain (based on reciprocal best blast hits to C58) are blue, genes that are absent are white. Light blue indicates genes that are present but with low (<50%) protein sequence identity to C58. Support for tree branches is indicated by color. Branches with Ultrafast bootstrap > 95% and SH-aLRT test > 80% are colored black, unsupported branches are gray. Representatives of each agrobacteria biovars and BV1 genomospecies, as well as other key lineages, are labeled. A more detailed analysis is provided in Figs. S5 and S6.
