Trauma-associated sleep disorder (obligatory criteria, abbreviated [27])

Onset after traumatic experiences
A history of altered dream mentation that is related to prior traumatic experience
Disruptive nocturnal behaviors, including at least abnormal vocalizations (e.g., yelling or screaming) or abnormal motor behaviors (e.g., violent behavior in sleep)
Symptoms of autonomic hyperarousal or PSG monitoring (e.g., tachycardia and tachypnea)
PSG may demonstrate: RSWA or dream enactment behavior in REM sleep
Absence of epileptic EEG activity in PSG
