Number of detected genes in total and in the two comparisons and number of total detected genes (unfiltered). For DE analyses, genes were filtered for a CPM < 0.5 in at least two of the respective analyzed libraries. Genes were annotated a UniProt identifier (UniProt ID), some genes could not be annotated, number of annotated genes is given. Annotated Tobacco proteins were blasted against Arabidopsis to find homologs, only hits with E-value < 10⁻⁵ were considered. Number of genes with an Arabidopsis protein homolog hit is given.
