Each model was run for a 100,000 generation burn-in period and then the simulation was run for an additional 1,000,000 generations. Samples of 500 individuals were collected every 10,000 generations after the burn-in period beginning with generation 0. Each point shown is the average of the results for 101 samples. The curves in red show the results for the symmetric model. The green curves show the results for the variable pleiotropy model (Vpli) with rmax=0.05.
